Alright here is the more detailed poster I was working on. I took some stills from the movie and put them together. From there I was able to use the pen tool on Illustrator to draw the finished product that you see here. There is also a subtle texture layer I added to give it the finishing touches I was looking for.
Please let me know what you think and please go and see this movie, it is amazing. ENJOY!

Go See GRAVITY
Just saw Gravity last night and my mind was completely blown. Such an amazing film that everyone needs to experience.
So I just threw this poster together today, but I'm going to be working on a more detailed poster soon. I'll post it as soon as its finished. In the meantime, GO SEE GRAVITY

Billing Statement Design
I was recently part of a very competitive redesign project in which we were to come up with a new modern design for an existing company's billing statement. I got a high rating, but unfortunately was not the final chosen design. I am still proud of it, check it out and let me know what you think. I love feedback. Thanks.

Wedding Invitation
I'd like to congratulate my coworker, Audrey, on her recent wedding that just passed.
I was lucky enough to be apart of the occasion by designing her wedding invitations. I am really pleased with how they came out and wanted to share with everybody. I would've posted this earlier, but I just got around to making sure some of the information was changed to prevent any of her personal information getting out on the internet. ENJOY!

So I am very happy to say that I have recently graduated from college. I am extremely excited and proud to be an alumni of The College of New Jersey. I'd also like to give a shout out to all of my fellow classmates and all my other friends who have become recent graduates. I'd also like to thank all of my friends and family for your continuous support, advice, and motivation.
Well I am officially finished with school after 17 long years. I think I deserve a little break. So while working on the completion of my website and sending out resumes, I will also be focusing on myself. The first thing that I did was rejoin my local gym with the goal of getting into the best shape of my life. Its good to have a schedule and stick with it, so I have been planning every day of each week making time for friends, gym, work, and personal projects.
These personal projects are small projects that I come up with for myself to work on to keep my creative mind working, this also includes projects that I am working on for friends; such as, wedding invites, t-shirt designs, illustrations, photography, and poster designs. I think the most important thing is to keep the mind fresh, so I am always trying to challenge myself, stay active, and ultimately keep busy. Along with that, I will start posting more often to share some of my favorite projects and to hopefully get some feedback. With that I'd like to thank you all for reading and tune in soon for much more.

Hey everyone! So I recently redid my room with all my work from the past couple of years in college. Below I have a picture (a sneak peak) of my workspace. I enjoy having artwork around me for inspiration on any new projects. Whether that be exploring art inspiration websites or just by looking around the walls of my room. Now that I will have a lot more free time with school finishing, I will devote lots of time towards finding a job and working on some of my own personal projects along the way. Enjoy!

Senior Design Show Success
Yesterday, the senior graphic designers (including me) of The College of New Jersey had their Senior Design Show. Everything went great! Everyone's tables looked great, lots of family, friends, and businesses showed up, and of course the food was delicious.
It was a fun experience to show off my work and explain my process to people outside of school. It was great to hear questions and comments about my work. I am extremely pleased at how many people showed up and all the great feedback we received.
Graduation is nearly upon us and the real world is crashing down. Now that I have my portfolio completely finished and the website nearly complete, I will be sending out tons of stuff to ad agencies in the area hoping for some good luck.
Below is my table at the show. Thanks to everyone who made it out.

My First Post!
Hey everyone,
This is my first ever actual blog. I am new to blogger so bare with me as I become more familiar with the program.
A little about me:
I am a student about to graduate from The College of New Jersey with a BFA in Graphic Design. I transferred here from a community college and I have loved my experiences at both colleges and I think it has helped me become a well rounded person. Being a senior in high school I did not know what I wanted to study in college and to possibly do for the rest of my career. I only knew one thing and that is that I never wanted to be bored with my job and be doing the same thing every day. With the interest in art in advertising, I knew that graphic design was the answer for me as I will be able to work with new clients and projects as the field is continuously changing. In some ways, the continuously changing field can be difficult to keep up with, but I always enjoy learning new things and trying to teach others through my own personal techniques as well.
Four years later, here I am two weeks away from graduation and having a big boot kick me into the real world. It is a scary thought: becoming an adult, venturing into the real world with real responsibilities, goals, and consequences. I am excited but stressed at the same time.
Starting this blog is me starting another chapter in my life. I hope to share my experiences with you and hopefully you will be able to teach me a few things as well.
Thank you for reading and look for more soon.
